Hurricane Helene Testimonial
We are the McGuire family. We purchased this Townhome singlewide from Family Home Center in Lake City, Florida. It was custom built by the Townhome factory in Lake City. We live in Suwannee, Florida which is a coastal city in the big bend of Florida. Our house is situated on the closest road next to the Gulf of Mexico. It is 22 feet above sea level. Our community sustained catastrophic damage from Hurricane Helene, which was a Category 4 Hurricane. We had approximately 15 feet of storm surge above sea level. This home suffered absolutely no damage from the surge or the wind. The estimated sustained winds were 115mph and higher gusts.
I would highly recommend a Townhome if you are considering buyer a home and placing it neat the coast. It should be noted that several of our neighbors who have stick built homes suffered extensive damage.
Our prayers and thoughts are with all of our fellow citizens that have suffered tremendously as a result of Hurricane Helene.

Just wanted to thank your company for building an outstanding manufactured home for us in 2020. We’ve been here four years and four hurricanes and not a lick of damage.
